Shipping and payment

Yes! Orders over CHF 99 are shipped for free within Switzerland. For all other countries, the shipping costs and delivery time will be calculated individually during checkout.

We currently accept electronic payments through PostFinance or PayPal, as well as major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. For retail and B2B orders, please contact us for additional payment options.

Yes! Swiss legends deserve to be enjoyed all around the world! We use Swiss Post, DHL and DPD to make sure you get your shipments quickly and safely. Please note that any additional taxes, import duties or customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

We try to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible. We use priority shipping methods, so shipments are usually delivered within a few business days, although some international destinations may take slightly longer. You can always contact us with any questions about specific timings or parcel tracking.

If you have a coupon or voucher code, you can enter it in the drop-down field which is found on your review order page, before you get to the final checkout page. You need to have at least one item in your cart for this section to be visible.

We don’t operate a physical store, so this is not possible. However, you can visit any of our retail partners to appreciate our goods up close, and purchase them immediately.

Products

Yes! Due to the strong power of the “Swiss-made” label, the Swiss government has set strict guidelines defining what criteria must be met in order to be considered “Swiss-made” as well as whether a company can use the Swiss flag in its logo. We take great pride in making sure that our products are completely Swiss-made.

We currently have products in both German and English. Many of our products come in a single language, while the Legendbox Limited Edition and Legendbox Classic are bilingual with both English and German included in one. We hope to launch in more languages soon! Have a request? Please contact us!

We believe in fairness, health, and sustainability. That’s why our products are made with only the best high-quality materials and ingredients. Our Legendbox Limited Edition and Legendbox Classic are made from solid beechwood, and our inks are certified GREENGUARD Gold, which means they are safe for children. Our paper products such as postcards and notebooks are FSC® and PEFC™ certified, which means that they come from sustainably-managed forests. Our Legendary Chocolate is certified Organic and FAIRTRADE, which means it’s not only healthy, but that the farmers and producers receive a fair wage for their work.

Yes! Our Legendbox Limited Edition and Legendbox Classic are made from solid beechwood, and our inks are certified GREENGUARD Gold. GREENGUARD Certification ensures that a product has met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air. The GREENGUARD Gold standard includes health based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.

Legends

All of our legends come from historic sources that are at least 100 years old, with some sources as old as the 13th century. Our mission is to preserve historic legends, not to make up new stories. So we have shortened the text and updated the language while staying as true as possible to the original sources.

We love legends! If you know a fantastic story we should check out, please send us an email with as much information as possible. Legends that are used in our products are based on verified sources such as books or records that are at least 100 years old.

Yes! We carefully select our legends to be suitable for the whole family. The complexity of language we use may be at a slightly advanced level for smaller children.

We believe in sharing the stories of Swiss culture and history, and we use legends that are set in the public domain. However, the specific text and artwork that we have made for each story is under copyright. Please contact us for original sources for these stories, or to request a license to use specific text or images.

Returns and exchanges

We want to make sure that you’re happy! If you experience any issues with our products, or are unhappy for any reason, you are welcome to make a return within 14 days of receiving your order of the unused goods in their original packaging. Please contact us to arrange a return.

Unfortunately, online orders must be returned online. Likewise, store purchases must be returned in-store.

Please contact us immediately via email at [email protected] stating the order number and the contents of the package. We’ll make sure to get you the correct product as soon as possible.

Despite proper packaging and our utmost care, sometimes things can get damaged in transit. If this happens, please send us pictures of the affected goods as well as the packaging to [email protected], so we can see what went wrong and work to find a solution. Please note that articles damaged during transit are the responsibility of the buyer and claims must be filed with the respective logistics provider.
