August 1st is Switzerland’s most important national holiday. We love to celebrate our founding fathers, the spirit of independence and self-determination; and of course, our legends!

Celebrate Swiss culture with us by sharing the story of “The Great Oath on the Rütli”, the legend of how three great men came together to fight for freedom. Our Switzerland postcards display the Swiss cross and the three legendary heroes of Switzerland: Walter Fürst of Uri, Werner Stauffacher of Schwyz and Arnold von Melchtal of Unterwalden. The whole legend text is displayed on the back with enough space to put a note or some holiday greetings for your friends or family.

VARSY’S legendary postcards are offset printed in Switzerland on premium materials with the legend artwork on one side, and the full legend text in one language on the other side. We use FSC® and PEFC™ certified paper to ensure that our papers come from sustainable and responsibly-managed sources. Winner of the 2018 GOOD DESIGN® Award.
